Activated carbon has a wide application in chemical, cosmetic, pharmaceutical, food industries, and also got a new application in horticulture: a means to fight gnats, mold and protect roots from rot.
Charcoal briquettes for grilling are another key product. Only birch charcoal and food-grade unmodified starch are used for production. Briquettes are easy to ignite, burn without acrid odour and smoke, give a strong heat, absorb falling drops of fat. The frying process is quick and convenient.
